New Date, Pink Ribbon Mother-Daughter Breakfast

SMC —

We have a new date, the Mother-Daughter Breakfast to raise funds for the Pink Ribbon Appeal for the Breast Cancer Foundation will now take part on Friday 4 September.

It’s a wonderful way to spend a morning with other SMC mums, your daughter and her friends, listening to an inspirational speaker and enjoying a delicious breakfast and $5 from each ticket sold will be donated to the Breast Cancer Foundation NZ.

All tickets previously bought will be valid and due to some being unable to make the new date we have very few tickets still available so if you can come - be quick!

Our guest speaker is Libby Oborn who grew up in Southland and was a border at St Margaret’s from 1996 to 2000. She was Head Girl in her final year and went on to study at Otago University, completing a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing and a Bachelor of Arts in Design. She worked and travelled overseas before moving to Christchurch in 2008. Libby won the inaugural season of the reality TV show The Block NZ with her brother Ben in 2012. They founded their brand agency, Libby & Ben, that same year and have studios in Christchurch and Auckland. Libby will talk about how she went from Head Girl to successful business entrepreneur, working with brands such as Ethique, Christchurch Airport, Coast and The Arts Centre and the lessons learned along the way.
