The excitement and preparation for House Day is a buzz around the school as the House Prefects and their Year 13 teams organise all members of each House for their House Plays, sports and cultural events.

This is a significant experience in leadership and organisation for the leaders, but also an extremely valuable opportunity for all members of the House to contribute as a positive team member. The scripts have been specially written around the 2021 theme of ‘It’s Your Masterpiece’ and the choreography, music and tech support with such large groups is no mean feat!
This is another of SMCs colourful days with lots of fun and support, building the culture of SMC. Sorry parents, this is an SMC only day but I know you will enjoy the stories shared by your daughters and the photos that will make their way to you. Once again please support this event with your daughter’s attendance.

This is a special year for the Houses, it being 100 years since their introduction. The staff Heads of House shared the history and some entertaining details from through the ages in a recent assembly. We look forward to making this a wonderful memory celebrating this milestone in the School’s history.
