Grow Ōtautahi Update

We are getting closer! The plants that have been returned are looking very healthy and well-loved. We appreciate the effort that you have put into ensuring they return to school looking their best. We are gathering all our elements for the design and it is developing to be something that we will be very proud of.

Thank you to all the parents and Grandparents who have been helping with plants and different resources. It has truly become a community effort! All of the Junior School have contributed to this garden with plants and new learning opportunities about Kaitiaki - being guardians of our earth. Personally, because of the learning that has taken place for all of us, I have placed worm feeders all over my garden, have learned about new varieties of vegetable plants I never knew existed and have really enjoyed spending more time in the garden (rather than ignoring it)! I know many of you will be the same.

Thank you to all who have replied via the google form to offer help during the festival. Today our ambassadors met with Mrs Double. Next week a schedule and information needed for the festival will be sent home. Where ever possible, I have placed you where you have requested. If you have any questions, please let me know.

If you are planning on visiting the festival, please make sure you pop in over the weekend and say hello.
