Following the Southland flooding, our boarding girls decided to support the southern rural community and organised a food drive for the Rural Support Trust.

Generosity is the act of being kind, selfless, and giving to others and it's been scientifically proven that it's better for our emotional and physical health to give than it is to receive.

Thank you to all of the girls that have signed up for the amazing array of co-curricular groups that are on offer this year. Most of the groups are now underway.

The highlight of the last two weeks for SMC sport has definitely been Swimming Sports. What a huge day this is with so much colour and noise. I am sure the surrounding neighbours were wondering what on earth was going on. What an absolute scorcher of a day and in fine St Margaret's fashion everyone had a blast.

I hope you all had a restful vacation and are back into the routine of the School Year. We've had our first PFA meeting already and we have started the year with gusto.
