As we look forward to welcoming prospective families to our Open Day on Monday, I must share what a delight it has been to connect with our own community in regional centres over the past few weeks. The strength and depth of our extended family never ceases to amaze me, as St Margaret’s College Old Girls and families revel in the opportunity to come together.

On Monday 25 March we are incredibly fortunate to have Rhino Man, Grant Fowlds, coming to speak to Years 7 to 13. Grant is one of the leading conservationists, speakers, and consultants in Southern Africa, advocating with unlimited passion his love for the wild.

Junior School Sports is thriving this term thanks to the commitment of Bindy O’Callaghan and the support of the Sports Department.

So much has been going on in the world of sport at St Margaret’s College in the last couple of weeks. From croquet to waka ama, our SMC ambassadors have bounced, swum, run, driven, biked and rowed their way to great heights. To quote Mrs Patchett, “Fabulous. We are flying the red and white across the country, with some incredible results.” Go SMC, keep up the good work!

Co-Head of Arts, Natalie Hutton, releases her EP to a sold-out crowd after performing at the Town Hall opening, whilst girls enjoy “have-a-go” Dance and Drama sessions offered by our student Arts Council.
