Welcome to two new students in our New Entrant Class! We welcome Imogen Grimshaw and Ellie Fridd to our Junior School!

Last Sunday was the International Day of the Girl Child, an opportunity I took to reflect on the enormous potential embodied by the 1.1 billion girls aged under 18 who the United Nations says, ‘are poised to become the largest generation of female leaders, entrepreneurs and change-makers the world has ever seen.’

Congratulations to Charlotte Maxwell who competed in the Southern School’s Cross Country Race in Timaru during our term break. This was to replace the national competition that was to be held in Wellington earlier this year.

Congratulations to our swimming champions.

Going on camp, day one of term 4 is the best way to start a term! We all had a ball!

Rachel Wilford will be away during Term 4. Stacy Goldsworthy and Amanda Woods will be taking choir as well as music classes during this time.

We are noticing that some of our Reading Books have not been returned. Please can you check at home and return any reading books that you may have (especially from Yr 1- 3) no matter how long they have been in your possession and well-loved they are.
