From the Head of Junior School
We welcome Maya Dwivedi in Year 2 and her family to our school. Maya is pictured with her new friend Isla and has already made “lots of friends” at school.
We are well into our learning this week with many important learning opportunities taking place throughout the term. As I go into each class each day, there is a strong feeling of high productivity and intentional learning taking place. All girls have settled very quickly back into learning and school routines with a fresh and focused mindset.
Below is a wonderful poem that has been written by Mollie in Year 3 this week. The class have used their school surroundings as inspiration.
Up High In The Sky
Swinging quietly up high in a tree
Is a girl holding on tight to a chain
The girls is as brown as the leaves
The wind is slightly pushing her
There is warm sun on her back
The Flaky leaves are gently swaying around
They look a bit like shark’s teeth
Autumn is back
