Welcome to our new and returning students, staff and their families. Today we acknowledged the start of the 2018 academic year with a formal mihi whakatau/powhiri where all new students and staff were welcomed by current students and staff.

In the small hours of Wednesday 24 January the new chapel was welcomed to SMC with an emotional karanga and powhiri as it entered the grounds of its new home before being blessed by Bishop Victoria.

Congratulations to all the girls who took part, and brought home no less than nine medals - one gold, three silver and five bronze!
