This week has been an exceptional week in terms of school events. The Hot Chips at Lunch were an amazing success. The reason for this event was to support our Year 13’s Business Group Enterprise. Nicola has outlined her Business Brief below.

House Day was a roaring success with a full array of colours and SMC girls brimming with House Spirit.

Thank you to all the families who contributed to fundraising for our very close rural neighbours who have been so devastatingly affected by the floods.

We have been contacted by Olivia who is an Old Girl of SMC and works for New Beginnings Preschool, a small community-based preschool in the heart of Linwood, Christchurch. They are a not for profit service driven by the needs of our community.

Parent Drinks Thursday, June 17 - Akimans Bar This is a great opportunity for parents in the Junior School and Preschool to take the opportunity to relax, chat and mingle with other parents. We are looking forward to seeing as many families as possible at this event.
