Annual City Mission Christmas Appeal
Sadly, for many people and families in NZ, the Christmas period is one of the most stressful times of the year and it has been made even more stressful since Covid 19. More people are accessing the Foodbank and other services than ever before.
In the run-up to Christmas, we are collecting for the Christchurch City Mission. They have asked for donations of lovely non-perishable goods (they particularly need sweet biscuits and chips).
I have been told they will also accept meat such as hams, chickens and home kill (processed by a butcher).
Please bring any items to the Junior School so we can redirect them.
