Two of our senior students won the chance to attend Outward Bound's Mind Body and Soul course recently and they had an unforgettable week.

Last term St Mary's College students in Year 12 and 13 were offered the opportunity to apply for a scholarship to attend Outward Bound's 8 day Mind Body and Soul course which took place over the holidays. The course involved sailing, multi-day hikes, team building and solo overnight camping. Charlotte Murray in Year 12 and Mahana Bartley in Year 13 took up the challenge. They applied for the scholarship and were both selected to attend. 

Both students say that they had an amazing time on the course. Mahana reported that it was mentally and physically challenging but that she would "100% do it again" if given the opportunity. Charlotte said she made some great new connections and it was a week she will "never forget". 

This is the second time St Mary's College students have been invited to apply and been awarded with scholarships to attend Outward Bound. We are proud of students who put themselves forward and take on the challenges. Congratulations to both Charlotte and Mahana.
