Vanessa Gray —

As the year draws to a close, I want to extend my warmest congratulations to all of our students on their success and achievements throughout the year. Success comes in many forms and it is our privilege as staff at St Mary’s to watch our students develop and grow through every year they spend with us. Our students challenge us, entertain us, inspire us and amaze us, and in doing so, they sit firmly at the heart of everything that we do at the college.

I want to thank whanau for your ongoing support and the way you work in partnership with us at the college. We deeply appreciate the many ways in which you provide support: encouraging your students in their curricular and extracurricular endeavours, contributing your time as volunteers for sporting and cultural activities, making donations to the school, keeping in touch with our staff, and attending school events. Thank you for this support.

This year has been a busy one, full of life and both rewarding and challenging. Our students and our staff are ready for the summer break. Over the coming weeks, I hope that everyone in our school community has an opportunity to rest and relax, and that we can all return to school in the new year feeling refreshed and ready for another great year.

Finally, I wish you all God’s blessings throughout the Advent season. May you experience God’s peace and love as we celebrate the birth of Jesus.

Meri Kirihemete,

Vanessa Gray
