Uniform Guidelines

Girls

• Navy polar fleece or St Patrick's School jacket
• St Patrick's polo shirt
• Navy shorts, navy skort, or navy St Patrick's School track pants
• Socks (ankle fold over) or navy tights
  
• Black school shoes, black sneakers or black T-bar sandals
• Navy bucket style sunhat (Term 1 & 4)

Boys

• Navy polar fleece or St Patrick's School Jacket
• St Patrick's polo shirt
• Navy shorts, navy trackpants or St Patrick's School track pants
• Navy socks (crew)
  
• Black school shoes, or black sneakers 
  
• Navy bucket style sunhat (Term 1 & 4)

Optional:

• Navy thermal or singlet can be worn under the short-sleeved St Patrick's polo shirt
• Jackets can be worn outside during colder weather

Sunglasses

Please let us know if your child wears sunglasses by email: office@spw.school.nz

Jewellery

• Only one small, plain stud per ear lobe is acceptable
• Watches are acceptable as long as they pose no safety risk
• Jewellery/taonga with special significance (for example a christening bangle/necklace) may be permitted if the principal has approved it.

Expectations

▪ Nail polish and make-up are not permitted

▪ Visible writing or drawing on the skin is not permitted

▪ Hair:

• is a natural colour and off the face

• long hair is tied up with either a natural hair colour, blue, white, or black bands, headbands/clips 
• must be clean and in a style/cut that does not distract from learning

▪ Undergarments (e.g., skins, singlets) should not be visible

Payment can be made by:

• internet banking (please request reference information: office@spw.school.nz)

• automatic payment (25% deposit to be paid and set up) for collection

Secondhand uniform

Previous uniform items that fit correctly and are neat and tidy may be worn. We have a selection of second-hand items available, please email the office for more information.

Financial assistance

Please contact the office if you need financial assistance. We have kindly been given a donation for uniform assistance from St Vincent de Paul and can help.

Name all items

Please ensure uniform items are clearly labelled with the child's name. 

The correct school uniform must be worn to and from school and to represent the school at events.
