We had a wonderful Pirate Day on Wednesday, despite the weather! As part of our activities we wrote a rhyming poem.

Aboard a rocky pirate ship 

In the middle of the sea 

Are a funny group of Pirates 

Who are as useless as can be!

There's Pirate Paul

Who likes to fall,

Pirate Vicky

Who is sticky,       (Lila)

There's Pirate Jane

Who is always in pain,

Pirate Kade

Who is always using a spade,

And Pirate Loki

Who likes hokey pokey,     (Emily)

There's Pirate Sam

who eats ham,      (Mackenzie)

Pirate Niamh

who likes to leave,   (Niamh)

Pirate Shane

Who likes looking at the rain,     (Louis)

And Pirate Pete

With smelly feet.
