It’s all about animals this week! For horse crazy readers, the Library has just received the perfect World Book series. You can learn about some of the world's favourite horse breeds, explore the traits and features of each breed, their common uses, and the care they need. Appaloosa, Arabian, Paint, Quarter, Thoroughbred and Miniature horses each star in their own book. The text is easy to read in a large font, while the information presented and photographs will appeal to more advanced readers as well.

Some of you may be familiar with World Book’s “Doggie Data” series in the Library. If you want to know more about Beagles, Boxers, Bulldogs, Chihuahuas, German Shepherds, Labrador Retrievers, Poodles or Pugs, these books are for you. We now have a new series of “Doggie Data” books. This set looks at Dachshunds, Golden Retrievers, Great Danes, Rottweilers, Siberian Huskies and Yorkshire Terriers. Again, these books are designed to appeal to a wide range of readers.
