Singing at Lister Hospital and Home

Hazel Fish —

The St Pat's children sang for the residents of Lister Hospital and Home today.

We received a lovely letter after the children's visit:

Dear Karen and students

Thank you very, very much for providing such wonderful musical entertainment for the staff and residents of Lister Home and Hospital this morning. It was wonderful to observe the impact the children and their singing had on the residents; the smile on their faces said it all.The students were amazing and it was obvious that they really enjoyed being at Lister and engaging with the residents. It was a privilege to have you all there as part of the Catholic Service.Could I please ask the School to consider providing similar appearances, at least once a term, during the Catholic Church Services I preside over at Lister. I will provide the School with the dates for the year and leave it to you to decide which Service you would be able to join in with. It makes such a difference to the residents and is a wonderful way to bring the St Patrick's Parish truly to life at Lister. If you could consider this request, I would be truly grateful.Again, thank you for providing such joy to everyone. Please pass on my thanks to the children - they were wonderful.Warmest regards and blessings.Jeannie HogarthCatholic Service ProviderLister Home & Hospital
