Pre-loved household items wanted

St Paul's Collegiate School —

We would be grateful for your pre-loved, unused/unwanted clothing, books, toys, sports gear, furniture, electronics and household items for our Monster Garage Sale.

We are excited to announce St Paul's will be hosting a Community Gala this year, an event being led by the school’s students with support from the Parents’ Association.

St Paul’s Community Gala will be held on Friday 11 September at 3.30-6.00pm on the school grounds. The gala, a carnival type event, will have a primary focus to pull together our local Fairfield and Bankwood community and provide fun and celebration post Covid-19. It will offer a range of activities, a talent quest, food stalls and a monster garage sale.

Funds raised from the gala will be used to support our local ‘Over the Fence Ministry’ schools – Fairfield and Bankwood Primary Schools whose communities were mostly impacted from the effects of Covid-19. We are hoping to raise $5,000 for each school. We'll keep you posted about when these items can be brought into school and where to drop them off.

Parent volunteers to help leading up to and including event day
As with any event such as a Gala, we would love the support of parents in key roles such as helping in the Monster Garage Sale, setting up gazebos and collecting money on the night. If you are able to assist, please email gala@stpauls.school.nz
Business sponsorship from those who are able
To ensure this event is as successful as it can be, we are reaching out and asking local businesses to partner with us. We have three sponsorship packages available for purchase and we would be grateful to have your financial support. Businesses can donate by becoming a platinum, gold or silver sponsor of St Paul’s community gala.

We ask that if you have a business, you might consider donating towards our community gala in the following ways:

Platinum sponsor - $2,500 +GST sponsorship (cash or in-kind)

This will allow naming rights to the gala. The sponsor’s name will be included on all marketing collateral promoting the event (online, advertisements in Informer and recognition in the school year book after the event). It also includes being able to have a stand with significant signage at the Gala to display your product or service to visitors.

Gold tier sponsor - $1,000 +GST sponsorship (cash or in-kind)

This will allow the sponsor’s name to be on all marketing collateral promoting the event (online, advertisements in Informer and recognition in the school yearbook after the event) and a small sign at the Gala event.

Silver tier sponsor - $500 +GST sponsorship (cash or in-kind)

This will allow the sponsors name to be on all marketing collateral promoting the event (online, advertisements in Informer and recognition in the school yearbook after the event).

If you are able to help in other ways through the donation of goods or services on the day, we welcome this also.

We look forward to working with you as a St Paul’s Gala sponsor and appreciate your support in helping to make this a successful event.

Please contact the gala team at gala@stpauls.school.nz to secure your sponsorship.

Please save the date and help us spread the word about our event.

Kind Regards
