St Paul's cricketers finish season on a high

St Paul's Collegiate School —

Congratulations to St Paul’s Junior White cricket team who won their last game of the season.

On Saturday 28 November, they played against Matamata. Batting first, they scored a solid 145 runs for 9 wickets from their 30 overs. 


Matamata proved to be tough competition, only falling 8 runs short of their target. 

Sam Kansal led the way with an impressive 24 runs and Cristiano Sarich achieved 22 runs. Thomas Allan made an impressive effort, taking 3 wickets in the final 3 overs of the game, naming him pick of the bowlers.

Overall, it was a very exciting end to the season. Well done boys!
