Te Ara A Kupe Beaton Scholarship Recipient - Aidan Hodgson

Aidan Hodgson (Year 11) was announced as one of five recipients of Te Ara A Kupe Beaton Scholarships at an online awards presentation. 

The application was a long process and included a video from Aidan about his worldview. His inspiration came from his Nana Judi whose story is one of grit and determination which he continually shows in his schooling and goals. 

The recipients of the scholarship gain access to personalised support and services including tutoring and consultancy with experts. The service will enable Aidan to narrow in on which field he wants to study after high school and prepare him to apply to top universities. Aidan is the only non-Year 13 recipient of the award.
