Jesus Christ Superstar musical starts this week

St Paul's Collegiate School —

After months of preparation, the curtain raises on Jesus Christ Superstar for a matinee show this Sunday at 2pm.

Through the eyes of the betrayer, Judas Iscariot, Jesus Christ Superstar tells the story of the last days of the man he once loved and admired. Through Judas’ eyes, the very human soul beneath the divine icon is bared – troubled, doubting, loving and scared.

Lead actors Riley Rolton (Year 12) as Jesus, Will Mollard (Year 11) as Judas and Neisha Cooper (Year 13) as Mary Magdalene, deliver sensational performances to the recognisable hit songs such as 'Everything's Alright', 'I Don't Know How to Love Him', and the iconic theme song, 'Jesus Christ Superstar' in this year’s school production.

The show is being performed at Southwell School from Mon 4-Thu 8 July at 7.30pm. Tickets are still available and can be purchased here.

Snacks will be available for purchase at half-time and programmes will be sold for $3
