Pass rates in the NCEA examinations proved to be on a par to those achieved by seniors in recent years, with the percentages gaining certificate endorsement (Merit or Excellence) slightly lower.

A summary of provisional pass rates for each of the levels is:

• University Entrance - 80%

• Level 2 - 95%
