Special character at St Paul's
The students have launched straight into service in 2023 which is a key part of the special character of St Paul's.
Each Tuesday, students from the School join Reverend Peter Rickman (the Rev) in a session of ukulele and singing with the residents of St Joans Rest Home. The visit is a highlight of the week for many of the residents and our students.
Students have also worked with the School's Head Chef, Chris Warner, to prepare and deliver up to 60 meals to The Serve Trust, Kia Pakari te Hapori, a volunteer organisation that serves meals 365 days a year to community members who are in need. This experience enriches the lives of the givers and the receivers.
The Year 11 Service Leaders for the Refugee Orientation Centre, Charlotte Belz and Roy Zhu, were commissioned in a special Chapel Service.
The first Sunday Chapel Service of the year was led by Hamilton House students who did an amazing job and delivered an uplifting service.
