Special character at St Paul's
During the month of April, the school community commemorated significant moments together.
The Easter Service of Holy Communion was a special event where the students met together to remember Christ's death and resurrection and receive Holy Communion. The Rev also visited Tihoi to hold an Easter Communion Service at the Rockwall Chapel.
Each year, the school holds The Garden of Remembrance Service where the community remembers staff and students who passed away while attending or teaching at St Paul's. This special service was attended by all students and the choir gave moving performances of The Lord's Prayer and May the Road Rise to Meet You. Students and family members lit a candle in remembrance of those who were loved and lost. The Service can be watched here.
In April the School welcomed new prefects Charlie Watson, Michaela White and Karina Yu at the Prefect Commissioning Service.
The students had a non-uniform Charity Day raising $4,000 for CanTeen and The Serve. On the last day of the month, the students ran in the Charity Relay to raise money for the St Paul's Collegiate School Book TukTuk in Cambodia. They came wearing house colours, carrying each other or tied together - and they ran! Some runners completed a half-marathon and some ran a full. Chef Warner said the appetites were huge that night and the food was demolished.
