St Paul's Swim Club gain top results at Swimming Waikato Championships

St Paul's Collegiate School —

From 2-4 December, St Paul's Swim Club competed at the Swimming Waikato Championships at Waterworld. Congratulations to the following St Paul's swimmers who made final results:

  • Oliver Mouat (Year 11) won the 13 years and over 50m long course butterfly race in 25:46 seconds. Oliver Mouat (Year 11) placed second in the 13 years and over 50m long course freestyle in 25:11 seconds.
  • Sophie Perry (Year 12) placed seventh in the 13 years and over 50m long course butterfly race in 32.49 seconds and eigth in the 200m long course freestyle in 2:18:74 minutes. 
  • Samuel Peoples (Year 13) won the 13 years and over 200m long course freestyle in 2:01:61 minutes, placed fourth in the 50m long course freestyle in 25:98 seconds and fifth in the 13 years and over 50m long course butterfly race in 27:62 seconds.
  • Neo Urlich (Year 10) placed 10th in the 13 years and over 100m long course backstroke in 1:11:88 minutes, 16th in the 50m long course butterfly race in 31:66 seconds and 12th in the 13 years and over 200m long course freestyle in 2:20:85 minutes.
  • Amelie Austin (Year 11) placed fifth in the 13 years and over 200m long course freestyle in 2:14:86 minutes. She also placed sixth in the 13 years and over 50m long course butterfly in 31:53 seconds and eighth in the 50m long course freestyle in 29:13 seconds.
