Many families in our immediate local vicinity have been struggling significantly with food security issues over recent weeks, with many families unable to make ends meet.

To this end, I invite our students to bring in an item of food as they return to school on Monday. Boarding students please bring a non-perishable food item such as a can or packet and day students please bring fresh fruit or vegetables. 

All food items can be placed in the porch of the chapel as you pass either on Sunday night or Monday morning. They will be collected by Foodbank staff and distributed accordingly on Monday. 

I’m sure we will all engage with this because of the unique, caring, generous and compassionate heart which lies at the centre of our school community.
