St Paul's students represent at national hockey tournament

St Paul's Collegiate School —

National hockey tournaments have been played around the country throughout July with a huge representation from current and former St Paul's Collegiate School students.

In the Under-18 Men’s National Hockey tournament played in Hamilton, there were six current St Paul's students playing: Benjamin Allen - Waikato (Year 12) Sam Lints - Waikato (Year 13), Cameron Hopping - Waikato (Year 12), Flynn Hutchinson - Waikato (Year 13), Milan Hood - North Harbour 2 (Year 12) and Javahn Jones - Northland (Year 12).

Collegians that played in the men's tournament include Toby Grindley - Canterbury (Sargood 2016-20) and Will Potter - Canterbury (Clark 2019-20). While Alex Grey (Williams 2017) is head coach for Wellington and Felix Rolls (Hall, Williams 2013-2017) is part of the Canterbury Under-18 Women's coaching team.

In the Women’s Under-18 National Hockey tournament that was held in Wellington, we had four current students competing and representing Waikato - Jessica Scatchard (Year 13), Jess Carey (Year 12), Jaimee Eades (Year 13) and Evie Potter (Year 12)
