Boys' hockey season kicks off
The 1st XI Hockey boys got their season underway on Wednesday 17 June with a friendly game against a team made up of premier club players in the Waikato.
The St Paul’s boys held their own in the first half, creating some
quality goal-scoring opportunities. However,
the speed and strength of the club player’s team started to take its toll in
the second half. St Paul’s eventually
going down 5-0. A good result
considering it was our first game and the quality of the opposition.
