Meet the 2020 premier netball team

While there were changes every quarter, the girls managed to stay composed and win by one. The girls should take confidence from this outing as they coped with a multitude of changes and combinations that they were not their normal. 

Returning players: Chloe Davis, Ellis Watson, Caitlin Fladgate, Libby Deadman, Alexis McClennan, Awatea Gudgeon, Matire Ormsby-van Selm, and Chloe Carr Paterson did well to steady the ship and direct our new players. 

We have a tall team this year and this in itself is intimidating – our new girls bring flair and confidence that we can take on anything. Brea McDonald, Emma Ruske, Laura Littlejohn, and Keisha Noble are new in the squad, although with a new coach (Mrs Lynaire Williams), it also feels like we are one big family in this together. 

Our season this year will be different to the last but we are working on making it special for our current Year 13 girls by staying in the moment and focussing on the process rather than the product. We will play a 12-week Saturday competition, a 7-week Monday night league, and culminating in an invitational tournament in October at St Peter’s (Cambridge).
