Road Cycling Age Group Club National Championships
Oliver Fleming and Thomas Purdie competed at the Road Cycling Age Group Club National Championships in Rotorua.
The first event was the U15 Individual Time Trial of 17 kilometers. Thomas placed 8th in a time of 31:29:45 and Oliver placed 11th in a time of 32:59:09.
In their second event, the boys competed in a mass-start 36km road race. Thomas finished 6th in the lead group, just 35 seconds behind the winner, and Oliver, unlucky to have mechanical problems during the race, placed 10th.
