Congratulations to the following players who have been selected to by the Waikato Hockey Association to represent the 2021 Wintec U18 Men's and Women's teams at the U18 National Tournament in July: Ben Allen, Cameron Hopping, Flynn Hutchinson, Sam Lints, Jess Carey, Jaimee Eades, Evie Potter and Jessica Scatchard. 

Ben Haskell set seven personal bests, he won the 16 year old 200m backstroke, placed second in the 100m backstroke and third in the 50m backstroke and 200m individual medley.

Matthew Chanwai collected six personal bests out of seven events, with a best finish of 6th in the 15 year old boys 100m breaststroke. 

Matthew and Ben also won silver in the mixed 4 x 50m freestyle relay.

Charlize Tordoff also set several personal best times in the 17 and 18 year old girls category, winning three gold medals in the 100m freestyle, 100m individual medley and 100m backstroke. She placed second in the 200m individual medley, 100m breaststroke and 200m breaststroke.
