Matthew Chanwai and Sophie Perry compete at  by St Paul's Collegiate School

Gold at National Open Water Swimming Championships

On Saturday 26 March, Matthew Chanwai (Year 12) and Sophie Perry (Year 12) competed at the National Open Water Swimming Championships in Taupō. 

Matthew won the 'epic 1km swim' race for 15 to 19 year olds and finished sixth in the 2.5km event for 15 to 17 year olds. 

Sophie finished seventh in both the 2.5km and 5km 'championship swim' events for 15 to 17 year olds.
