Sam Mitchell artwork unveiled by St Paul's Collegiate School

Sam Mitchell artwork unveiled

St Paul's is delighted to reveal the Sam Mitchell paintings proudly hanging in the Lander Centre.

Headmaster Ben Skeen and Head of Visual Arts Jonathan Cameron commissioned the paintings to kickstart the new programme introducing more contemporary artwork around the School.

Using the faces of 2021 Head Boy, Matthew Waddell (Sargood 2017-2021), and Head Girl, Gretel Muir (Harington 2019-2021), the pair represent all past, current, and future students. The faces contain images that create a narrative, and that narrative invites the viewer to decode the pictures and complete the story.
