Sam White catches marlin with dad

When Sam White (Year 13), her dad Gary, and the Waikato Construction Management Limited team headed out to Kawhia on a fishing trip, they didn't expect to return with a 129.5kg striped marlin!

Angler Sam spent over an hour reeling the fish aboard the Tristram 741 Offshore boat, and she is delighted to share the success of the catch with the group. A tremendous feat!

EVolocity by St Paul's Collegiate School

EVolocity kicks off at Wintec

Over the next nine months, two St Paul's teams from the technology and computer science classes are working on the EVolocity high school programme where students design, build and compete in electric vehicles.

As part of the launch day at Wintec, teams had to build a car constructed from rubber bands and our boys' team, comprised of Jackson Dwyer (Year 12) and Shodai Kagawa (Year 12) took out the win!

A great start to an exciting year of innovation for our students. We look forward to seeing the progress throughout the year.
