Steri-Needle take highly commended at the Young Innovator Awards at Fieldays

The Steri-Needle team, who initially won the school Crocodile Pit competition earlier this year, went on to compete at the Innovation Awards at Fieldays last week. The team of Benjamin Allen (Year 13) and Jade Luxton (Year 13) competed in the Young Innovator of the Year and were awarded 'highly commended' by the judges. The Steri-Needle invention is a holster used to sterilise vaccination gun needles so farmers can hygienically vaccinate several animals. We look forward to seeing what's next for these two!
