St Paul's Collegiate School vs Christ's College
St Paul's got off to a challenging start. Losing Harry Trumm in the second over, Cameron Bird in the third, Logan Orsler in the third, George McNeil in the fourth, Michael Robinson in the fourth, Ben Allen in the fifth, Dylan Fletcher in the sixth. However, from all these wickets being taken by Christ's College we were able to fight back with Hunter Doull (83*). Hunter was supported by Kiel Kleuskens (facing 51 balls) and Ben Urlich (facing 47 balls), which gave us enough time in the middle to set a total.

We got off to a good start knocking off their top order with the new ball. Once the ball got softer, Christ's College were able to get back into the game. We took a few quick wickets by Kiel Kleuskens (3/20), but in the end, it wasn't enough runs in the bank to prevent Christ's College reaching our total with four wickets in hand.

St Paul's Collegiate School vs Hutt International Boys School (HIBS)

St Paul's started off well with both our openers getting to double figures against a good bowling unit. HIBS bowled with control not giving away any freebies. We quickly lost both openers giving Cameron Bird (53) an opportunity to bat for a long period of time. We lost wickets at regular intervals, which prevented the team score to go well over 200. HIBS bowled tightly throughout the innings, only giving away 10 extra's (seven wides) and 18 boundaries.

In reply, we got off to the best start, with Dylan Fletcher (4/33) knocking over their top order with the score at 20/3. However, HIBS were able to fight back with their middle-order taking control of the game. We lost intensity giving away too many extra's (25) for a tight game. HIBS always had a handle on the innings winning the match by four wickets.

St Paul's Collegiate School vs King's College

St Paul's got off to a good start with our top three batsmen getting good starts with Harry Trumm making a half-century (53). There were important contributions by Michael Robinson (21) and Cameron Bird (34) against a handy bowling unit. George McNeil (21) was able to hang around at the end to ensure we faced our full lot of overs scoring 205 off 50 overs.

In reply, we started off well with the new ball with Alfie Goldfinch (3/22) showcasing his skills. But King's College fought back into the game with their middle-order keeping the game close.

However, we couldn't control the ball, giving 49 extra's (w 36, nb 1, b 10, lb 2). A disappointing loss. Extremely difficult to win any game bowling 49 extra's in a match.

St Paul's Collegiate School vs Westlake Boys High School

St Paul's got off to a good start with the ball, taking regular wickets. With a lot of good contributions by all of the bowling unit. Our fielding unit also stepped up, supporting our bowlers. We managed to bowl Westlake out for 123 runs which was very impressive on artificial.

In reply, we started well with 60 for 3 with the possibility of winning the first game of the tournament for both teams. However, we couldn't apply ourselves with the bat. It came down to the last wicket with nine runs to win. With supporters watching from the side-line, today it was Westlake's day, knocking over the tail and winning the match.
