40-Hour Challenge and special moments in August
This year, 21 students from St Paul's Collegiate School joined together for the 40-Hour Challenge. Students' efforts raised $11,197 which was an incredible contribution. The effort was recognised by World Vision Youth Ambassador Jemiah who came to an assembly to present a Gold Award which was received by Heads of School Matthew Chanwai and Lucy O'Meeghan. The Gold Award acknowledges a school raising more than $10,000.
The World Vision 40-Hour Challenge has been a longstanding fundraising campaign at St Paul's with efforts to raise funds for the humanitarian aid organisation.
Revd. Peter Rickman was commissioned as a Chaplain of the Order of St John (Hato Hone St John Ambulance) by Revd. Canon Jenny Chalmers, Regional St John Chaplain and Priory Dean Archbishop Sir David Moxon.
Congratulations to the Year 9 students who run the Chapel Service each week, each group shares an important message.
In August, the School held a Charity Day to raise money for the Refugee Orientation Centre Minibus Appeal with a record $4,796 raised that day. Thank you to everyone who participated.

- Over The Fence, working in local schools every Friday
