Meet the new staff: Nerroly Hay
Highly experienced marketing manager, Nerroly Hay, joins St Paul’s Collegiate School as the newly appointed Head of Marketing and Development.
Her considerable sales and marketing knowledge has seen her lead some of New Zealand's most prominent businesses, including 1-day.co.nz and Torpedo7 as the company’s marketing manager. Prior to her marketing roles, Nerroly was the general manager at the sporting giant, Oakley New Zealand.
After seven years as the marketing manager at 1-day.co.nz, Nerroly was ready for a new venture when she accepted the Head of Marketing and Development position at the conclusion of 2021. Nerroly is keen to continue highlighting St Paul’s reputation pillars, including Tihoi Venture School, boarding, Agribusiness, sport, culture, Collegians, curriculum, music and ‘Over the Fence’ service programmes. She understands that the families, past and present, and current staff make these programmes successful.
Nerroly is married to Josh Hay, and they have two sons, Jackson (13), who will be starting at St Paul’s this year and Carter (11), who attends Marian Catholic School in Hamilton East. Nerroly grew up in Rotorua, attended Waikato University, and has called Hamilton home for over 25 years. The family spend their weekends around cricket and rugby fields or at the beach in Mount Maunganui.
