Bevan Muirhead by St Paul's Collegiate School

Meet the new staff: Bevan Muirhead

As a Collegian who grew up living on campus, Bevan Muirhead (Fitchett 2014-2018) is a welcome addition to the community at St Paul's Collegiate School.

Son of long-serving staff member Neil Muirhead, Bevan has lived among many of the St Paul’s boarding houses his father ran as Housemaster, among many other roles, during his 23 year tenure.

The familiarity of the school made accepting the position of Residential Assistant an easy one for Bevan at the end of last year. As an RA, Bevan thrives on helping students with their academic studies and day to day activities in the boarding school. In addition to his role at the boarding house, he is also assisting the IT department on a casual basis.

After completing a Bachelor of Science, majoring in computer science at the University of Waikato in 2021, Bevan is now continuing his studies and undertaking a Bachelor of Computing and Mathematical Sciences with Honours. Expected to conclude his studies in the next academic year, Bevan plans to enter the world of cybersecurity once he graduates.

On top of his roles at St Paul’s and university studies, Bevan also works part-time at Kathmandu. In his spare time, or lack of, Bevan enjoys playing hockey, relaxing with a book or baking up a storm in the kitchen.
