Javahn Jones and two Collegians selected New Zealand Pasifika Men's Hockey Team

In addition to this outstanding achievement, Javahn Jones (Year 13) and two Collegians were recently selected for the New Zealand Pasifika Men's Hockey Team.  Collegian Stuart Pitu (School 2003-2007), and staff member/Collegian Daniel Scanlon (School 2013-2015).

The national team played in the 2022 New Zealand Heritage Hockey tournament from 15-18 April at the Kolmar Hockey Turf in Auckland.

Representing their Samoan heritage, the game was intense, resulting in a loss in a sudden death shoot out. All three men were named in the tournament team. Javahn, Stu and Dan are looking forward to potentially playing in some international tests later this year. Congratulations, men!
