Waikato/Bay of Plenty Secondary School's cross country competition

On Wednesday 8 June, 13 of our speediest runners participated in Waikato/Bay of Plenty Secondary School's cross country competition. Well done to the following students on their outstanding regional results: 

• The U16 boys' team consisting of Louie Short, Sam Foward, and Ben Brown finished second in their race 
• The Year 9 boys team consisting of Andre Settle, Finn Freemantle, and Lochi Hoy finished second in their race 
• Renee Carey (Year 11) placed 3rd in the senior girls' race
• Louie Short (Year 11) placed 7th in the junior boys' race 
• Andre Settle (Year 9) placed 10th in the Year 9 race 
• Sam Forward (Year 10) placed 11th in the junior boys' race 
• Finn Freemantle (Year 9) placed 12th in the Year 9 race 
• Ben Brown (Year 11) placed 12th in the junior boys' race 
• Lochi Hoy (Year 9) placed 16th in the Year 9 race 
• Jay Benefield (Year 10) placed 17th in the junior boys' race 
• Dylan Fletcher (Year 13) placed 17th in the senior boys' race 
• Fergus Hood (Year 9) placed 18th in the Year 9 race 
• Jessie Morris (Year 11) finished 18th in the junior girls' race 
• Finn Bell (Year 9) placed 27th in the Year 9 race
