Hamilton House take out House Haka

Another stunning House Haka performance as we celebrate 11 years of the inter-house competition. This is more than a competition, it is a celebration of house pride, school pride and cultural pride.

Thank you to Matua Tahau and Whaia Krystal for making the tough decision of placings.

"The use of karakia to clear the stage, the acknowledgment of Kiingitanga through the Paimaarire, the adaptation of style, form and choreography allowed each house to make their performance unique. I must make mention the inclusion of our first-ever staff performance (Housemasters Kelvin Hogg and Deputy Housemaster Bruce Rawson).

Ki te kotahi te kakaho ka whati ki te kaapuia e kore e whati - if the reed is alone, it is easily torn apart - however, if many reeds are woven together they will not falter" - Tahau.

1st place - Hamilton House
2nd place - Sargood House
3rd place - Clark House
