Preparing next year's leaders
Over the term 3 holidays a group of Year 12 students attended the annual Leadership Camp at Tihoi.
Visit this articleLast Friday was the final day for our senior students as we wished them well in their preparations for NCEA exams over the next few weeks. The junior school will also be preparing and participating in exams over the next couple of weeks.
Here are some key dates to be mindful of as we approach the end of term 4:
- Wed 6 Nov - Tihoi intake two students return from break to Tihoi
- Fri 8 Nov - NCEA exams commence
- Sat 9 - Mon 11 Nov - Mid-term break for juniors - years 9-10
- Fri 15 - Wed 20 Nov - Junior exams
- Fri 22 Nov - Year 10 Enterprise Evening in school dining room - A great opportunity to pick up some Christmas gifts!
- Sat 23 Nov - Graduation at Tihoi for intake two students
Full school attendance is required at the following end-of-year ceremonies:
- Thu 28 Nov 7pm - Carol Service in Chapel
- Fri 29 Nov 10am - Headmaster's Final Assembly
- Fri 29 Nov 5pm - Leavers' Service in Chapel
- Sat 30 Nov 10am - Prize giving

Resilience
Resilience is one of those skills all kids need and should have. It refers to their ability to cope and adapt in situations when confronted with challenges such as adversity, trauma, tragedy, or even stress. It is essential to their mental health and wellbeing as part of their journey to adulthood. It is a skill that can be learned from an early age through the support of an adult role model.
