60 years - The Big Welcome Back Reunion

This week we will welcome back past students and staff for The Big Welcome Back Reunion, celebrating 60 years of St Paul's. We have a number of events lined up starting with an official opening of events on Friday which will bring past and present students together. Read on for the schedule of events...

Friday 8 March

  • 2.00pm Official opening and assembly combined with current students
  • 3.45pm Tour of the school in era groups with our current students
  • 4.30pm Registration in the student centre
  • 5.00 – 9.00pm Mix and mingle – drinks, nibbles and endless chatting

Dress code is tidy casual.

Saturday 9 March

  • 10.00am – 11.30am Morning tea, boarding house tours and day houses open with photos on display
  • 10.30am Group photos in eras
  • 11.00am – 2.00pm Collegians cricket, tennis and touch (Collegians playing and supporting from the sidelines)

Current families are welcome to come down on Saturday to enjoy a day of sport. There will be food trucks at the school to purchase lunch. You are welcome to mix and mingle around the school that day.

Saturday 9 March 

Formal dinner

  • 5.30pm – late Dinner and drinks with 'on the couch' interviews with Collegians from each era

Dress code is formal (in New Zealand, formal means that men wear dress pants, shirt and tie. Woman wear cocktail or 'party' styled clothing. Please remember that the weather will be warm).

In keeping with our duty to be responsible hosts and to meet liquor licencing requirements, 'drinks provided' includes vouchers for four alcoholic drinks at each night function. Additional vouchers can be purchased at the event for $5 per voucher. Non-alcoholic drinks are unlimited.

Sunday 10 March

  • 11am Eucharist service followed by morning tea at St Paul’s Chapel of Christ the King
