Student successes

James Galvin (Year 9) has been selected for the U15 Waikato Volleyball squad. The squad will be tested through a series of trainings before the final team selection is made. To top off his recent announcement, James also led the St Paul's team to a third-place finish thanks to his four aces in the final set. Awesome, James!

A group of Year 10 mates from St Paul's entered the A1 Homes & Beach 5s Rugby Festival held at Mount Maunganui (6-8 December 2024). Competing in the highly competitive Y9/Y10 league, these boys showcased incredible skill and determination, ultimately winning their grade in style.

A special mention goes to Thomas Wilson, who claimed victory in the kicking competition.

Thank you to the 2024 Librarians who assisted Mrs Renner over the course of the year.

St Paul's students Timi Carter, Chris Kahotea, Keanu Nathan, Jackson Hill-Brown and Hunter Pocock were selected for the Waikato U16 Invitational side that played in the curtain-raiser at FMG Stadium during the holiday break. There was strong representation from St Paul's across the four Waikato U16 teams—two Hoops teams, a Maaori team, and a Pasifika team.
