Sam Lewis and team score silver at New Zealand Waterpolo Nationals
Sam Lewis (Year 11) represented Tauranga at the 2023 NZWP Under 14 Division 2 National Championships in Wellington in December. The team won a silver medal when they competed against 20 other national teams. Congratulations Sam and team!
7th place for Junior Adventure Racing Team
The Junior Adventure Racing Team finished 7th in the National Adventure Racing Final at Tongariro National Park! The team which was a mix of students from St Paul's and Waikato Diocesan School paddled, rafted, climbed, ran and biked 100s of kilometres and was one of the youngest teams in the tournament.
This intense 6-day competition tested strength, fitness, endurance, and resilience. Shoutout to students—Ted Kingsford, Billy Swap, Finn Henry, and Drew Waterson—and kudos to Waikato Diocesan for an impressive collaboration!
2024 Gold Coast International Futsal Cup
Recently, three St Paul's Collegiate School students competed in the Gold Coast International Futsal Cup which ran from 16-20 January 2024 at the Gold Coast Sports and Leisure Centre in Queensland, Australia.
They represented their respective clubs based in New Zealand. Roy Zhu (Year 12) played in the U19 Boys' Competition for FourZero Futsal. Riley Binnie (Year 12) and Stirling Grant (Year 11) played in the U16 Boys' Competition for Titans Futsal Club. Both teams fought hard in pool play against tough Australian sides, narrowly missing out on advancing to the semifinal stages.

Campbell Soanes makes Northern Districts U17 cricket team
Campbell Soanes (Year 12) has made the Northern Districts U17 cricket team. Campbell and the team represented the northern half of the North Island at the national tournament in Christchurch at Lincoln University over the summer holiday and achieved 2nd equal. Congratulations Campbell.
