St Paul's Collegiate School musicians Monique James-Thomas (Year 13), Roy Zhu (Year 12), Ryan Koo and Nurie Choi (Year 9s) attended the New Zealand Secondary School Symphony Orchestra performing in Christchurch over the holidays. Watch their performance here. 

Roy delivered the opening speech to the 98 orchestra members from 40 schools across the country.

Three students competed in the North Island Secondary Schools Athletics Championships in Palmerston North in early April. 

Congratulations to the following students on their athletic achievements: 

George Flexman placed third in the Junior Boys' 80m Hurdles, running close to his best time for the event. He was also entered into the Junior Boys' Relay where his team placed third.

Lucy Steele placed third in the Senior Girls' 300m Hurdles, running a personal best of 47.76s.

Renee Carey finished sixth in the Senior Girls' 800m Sprint and 10th in the 1500m run.
