As we prepare to return back to the final term of the year, we remind you of a number of house and sports dinners that all take place in the first few weeks back. These are listed below but are also listed in the term calendar that has been posted to you and can be viewed on our website.
First day back at school on Monday 14 October, students will attend Chapel at 8:00am and then move outside for the unveiling ceremony of the school's new sculpture (in front of Williams House) which commemorates 60 years of St Paul's and 40 years of Tihoi Venture School.

Visit this articleOur Junior A boys’ hockey team was made up of Year 9 and 10 boys, with Oscar Coxhead (Year 11) playing in goal. Playing in the D Division, the team were often playing teams with players who were as much as three or four years older than some of the St Paul’s boys.
Visit this articleWith a young and inexperienced Division 1 team, St Paul's Collegiate School Boys' 1st XI hockey team set out to Christchurch to compete in the Rankin Cup. Our goal was to emulate or improve on last year’s team where they came 13th. However, due to our hard pool (Christchurch Boys High School, Hamilton Boys High School and John McGlashan College), we had to re-evaluate our goals. The team decided to try and win the India Shield (17th in the tournament) and to ensure that we remained in the tournament in 2020 by avoiding relegation (bottom six teams go down to Division 3).

The aim was to repeat the heroics of last year and make it through to the top 16 in New Zealand.
