While most of the students enjoy a three-week break, our Year 12s spent the first week of the holidays down at Tihoi Venture School for their Leadership Camp.
These camps are an excellent opportunity for our aspiring young students to bond and implement their leadership skills.
This year the Waimaths Competition was held at Melville High School on Wednesday 10 August for Year 9-11 students. Teams comprising three students work together to answer 20 questions in 45 minutes, competing against the best and brightest from schools across the Waikato.

This year our Year 9 team placed second out of 15 schools. The boys were presented with certificates and calculators at the prizegiving held after the competition.
Our Year 10 team was just out of the placings, coming fourth (out of 17 teams).
The Year 11s tied for fifth place from 13 teams on the night.
