St Paul's place second at NZSS champs
Head Coach Ray Cameron putting St Paul's on the basketball map
Ray Cameron, brother of basketball legend Pero Cameron, has joined St Paul's as head coach of basketball. St Paul's entered the 3x3 New Zealand Secondary School Championships which is a tournament with three players a-side games.
St Paul's entered a junior and senior team into the competition but it was our juniors who finished the tournament with a silver medal, losing to Sancta Maria College 11-14 in the final. Not bad for their first competition!
This is an exciting start to the basketball season and we look forward to watching their progress.
