New Zealand Open Swimming Championships

Three St Paul's students bring home medals and set regional records at the 2021 Open Swim Champs

Three students represented St Paul's at the 2021 New Zealand Open Swimming Championships from April 5-10.

Boston Tordoff competed in the 100m breaststroke, swimming a personal best and finishing 16th overall in New Zealand.

Luca Zabel swam personal bests in all his events including the 200m freestyle to finish 33rd overall in New Zealand.

Laura Littlejohn competed in five events gaining four New Zealand open medals. Laura finished with bronze in the women's 200m freestyle, bronze in the 50m butterfly, silver in the 100m freestyle and gold in the blue ribbon 50m freestyle event to gain her first long course NZ Open Title. Her swims in the three freestyle events were all Waikato Open women's records and she set the Waikato age group records in all her events.
